[This isn't the first time Tao has run off on her own somewhere, nor is it the last; that much Ragna is sure of. Really, he's this close to leaving her behind in Kagutsuchi, but the truth is doing so would make him feel pretty bad. As such, he decided to at least look around for the Kaka before ditching her. That way, he can convince his conscience there was an attempt and tell it to piss off. There. That's a great plan.

It wasn't not in her intentions to get super drunk. She just lost track of how much she was drinking when she decided to bust out the many costumes and outfits she had that didn't fit her.
